So You Don’t Know Me From Adam?

Husband, Daddy, Speaker, Author, Educator, Mortgage Maverick, Entrepreneur, Investor… and occasional Entertainer.
I founded National Financial Educators in 2004 with a mission to educate and inspire young people to take control of their finances and Win The Money Game. My mission has placed me in front of over 150,000 college students from East Coast to West Coast and everywhere in between. Students who’ve seen any of the Pre-Reqs To Success seminars say they are drawn to my delivery style, both comedic and content-rich, and regularly request repeat performances on campus.
In 2005, I co-authored the book Winning The Money Game: A Financial Rule Book For Young People, now on it’s second printing and rated 5 out of 5 stars by Amazon Reviewers. I am regularly featured on local and regional radio and television programs, and am a frequent contributor to national professional fraternity publications.
My drive to educate people about money led me to found Four Legacies Mortgage, the first socially-responsible mortgage company in the state of Iowa. The vision of Four Legacies is to see every client move towards the ultimate lifestyle: money freedom, time freedom, relationship freedom, and service freedom. By offering seminars to public and corporate offices, and through one-on-one consultations, my team I have helped hundreds of people create more wealth in their lives by changing the “spend as usual” mindset. One meeting with any member of the team and you’ll quickly realize these are no ordinary loan officers – they are professional mortgage planners who see things extremely clearly.
Some years ago, I was extremely intrigued by the science of NLP and became certified as a hypnotherapist. I’ve been a student of how to tap into the 95% of the brain most people never use and believe that our subconscious mind is the most powerful supercomputer ever designed. To this day, I never use an alarm clock (and always wake up on time) and rarely forget someone once I’ve met them and know their name.
I was an adrenaline junkie for about 6 months and scuba dived, jet-boated, bungee jumped, sky-dived, did stand-up comedy, and rolled a Jeep Cherokee end over end (4 times) going 70 mph. (I might even tell the story in front of your group someday!) Then my wife told me I had to find a new way to engage my endorphins so now I speak for a living. Way safer.
